Heyyy heyy!!!!!

We are coming to the close of day 3 of our 7 day fast in less than 2 hours and I wanted to check in on you!

Are you struggling to stay committed? Are you finding yourself dealing with various emotions that you can't explain? Are you feeling tired than normal? Are you doing fine? Wherever you find yourself with your answer just know you are not alone and that you have a helper, the Holy Spirit, who is ready and available to help you.

When I first started fasting 3 years ago I would struggle but I learned early on to use my help by imploring the Holy Spirit to strengthen me and give me the grace I needed to finish strong. I want to encourage you to do the same!

Your flesh HATES that you've made the decision to fast so it's going to fight hard to make you feel as if you can't accomplish what you've set your heart and mind to do these last 4 days.

God is doing a new thing so stay the course and remember the 3 prayer points God revealed on day 1 of the fast.

1. Repentance
2. Deal with the spirit of unforgiveness
3. Expect the unexpected

If you've read and meditated on Isaiah 58, it described to you the type of fast that God expects for us to do. One of the things God mentions in that passage is to give to the poor. So, with tomorrow being day 4 of our fast I would like for you to give to the poor DETERMINEDLY. And what that looks like is blessing the poor and assisting with their need. God uses people to bless people, so imagine you being in dire need of a blessing that you've been praying for and someone takes their time when God has spoken to them about blessing you..... So be DETERMINED to bless the poor tomorrow and scripture says that God will pay you back. Ask Holy Spirit to help you do this!!!!!

Remember..
❌ No food from 6am-6pm. Water and the Word of God ONLY!!!!!!!
❌ No complaining or murmuring.( Read the story of the Israelite's who were rescued by Moses from Pharaoh who murmured and complained)
❌ No sugar the entire 7 days.(It clouds your mind and it's bad for you anyway)
❌No condemnation ( If you find yourself off track, repent and get back to fasting, you can do this!!!!!)

God will reward those who diligently seek him and that's scripture 😊
